Nationwide there is a serious shortage of well-qualified secondary 阀杆 educators and a lack of diversity among the teaching population as a whole. Through the support of the NSF Robert Noyce 阀杆 Teacher Scholarship and Stipends Program (NSF 2151027) Metropolitan State University of 丹佛, a leader in the preparation of teachers and education of underrepresented students in Colorado, provides equitable 阀杆 teaching and learning through innovative curricula and comprehensive support services to recruit and prepare 阀杆 majors to teach in grades 7-12.

U۰R 阀杆 focuses on increasing both the number and diversity of secondary 阀杆 educators through the scholarship program. Providing scholars with transformative pre-service clinical experiences and in-service educator professional development, 定制的招聘, and retention to graduation of diverse students to 阀杆 and 阀杆 teaching.
