Professional Development and Travel Funding 给学生的机会
学生旅游 & 专业发展资助 is a student fee funded program that provides funding for professional development travel, 研究生入学考试, and professional licensure exams and courses.
These grants help pay for the following:
- 旅行(交通运输, 住宿, 登记 fees) expenses to participate in regional, 国家, or inter国家 professional development events.
- Professional licensure or certification exam 登记 fees.
- 研究生 school entrance exam 登记 fee.
92% of student participants stated they gained valuable 领导能力 by participating in the 学生旅行计划.
Travel and/or exam must be related to the participant’s area of study or leadership position on campus. 学生旅游 & 专业发展资助 does not support travel or exams unrelated to a student’s area of study, attending courses at other schools, 或者一般研究费用. Study abroad and other forms of travel for academic credit are not permitted.

研究生入学考试 & Professional Licensure Exam Program
Any required graduate school entrance exam (GRE, LSAT, MCAT, etc.). Professional licensure or certification exam or course related to the student’s area of study or leadership position on campus.

Provides funding to cover 登记 fees for online or local (no overnight stay) professional development events such as, but not limited to the following: conferences and conventions, 研讨会, 研讨会, 比赛(非竞技, 课外学习).

Program participation must enhance and contribute to the student’s academic enrichment at 密歇根州立大学丹佛. There has to be a direct connection to the participant’s area of study and/or program.

Program participation must contribute to the development of one or more of the following types of skills:

- Human or Interpersonal Skills (Soft skills).

Faculty Accompanying 学生 to Professional Conferences & 活动计划(FAS计划)
To support faculty members accompanying students to a professional conference or other professional event (e.g. 竞争, 研究地点收集数据), the Provost’s Office has allocated $40,000美元. These funds may be used by full-time faculty to cover their transportation, 登记, 以及住宿费, when accompanying students to a qualifying conference or event. Preference will be given to faculty who are accompanying students that have an active role (e.g. a student giving a conference presentation). For full details on the program, please review the criteria below. The maximum award is $1,200 per faculty member per academic year.
