大学工作 provides recent high school graduates planning to attend 密歇根州立大学丹佛 the opportunity to work on campus 和 get a jump-start on their college journey the summer before their freshman year.

We encourage all incoming 密歇根州立大学丹佛 freshman to apply, regardless of immigration status. If you have any questions regarding eligibility please contact the coordinator.

Program eligibility is based on where you live. Please review eligibility requirements below:

生活在丹佛的学生

If you participate in 大学工作, you will be paid $18.29/hr for time working for an 密歇根州立大学丹佛 department.

Payment is provided by the 丹佛 Youth Employment Program, so you must meet their qualifications:

  • 必须14-21岁
  • Must be currently enrolled in school, high school or postsecondary
  • 必须是丹佛的居民吗
  • Must be eligible to work in the US
  • Have been affected by the COVID-19 P和emic (example: had to do online learning during p和emic)

AND one of the following income qualifiers:

  • Low-to-moderate income earner: Income at or below 300 percent (300%) of the Federal Poverty Guidelines for the size of the household based on the most recently published poverty guidelines by the Department of Health 和 Human Services (HHS)
  • You or family is currently receiving public assistance (SNAP, TANF, LEAP, 等.)
  • You or family member receives free or reduced lunch

学生 Living Outside of 丹佛

We will connect you to a job with one of the departments at 密歇根州立大学丹佛 where you can work up to 30 hours per week over the summer.

You will be paid through Adams County Workforce programs, so must meet their qualifications to participate:

  • 16至24岁

Experience one or more of the following challenges:

  • 无家可归或无住房保障
  • Have a disability (physical, mental, 和 learning)
  • 育儿或怀孕
  • Foster youth or former foster youth
  • Have been involved in the criminal justice system (including misdemeanor, 重罪, 缓刑, 假释, 等.)

OR

  • Eligible for SNAP, TANF, or free or reduced lunch 下列之一:
    • Migrant 和 Seasonal Farmworkers
